Sound & Movement Facilitators

Christina Gibbs, LCSW, 500 RYT

Christina is a somatic oriented therapist and mindfulness based practitioner who uses a mind-body approach while working with clients. Her role with clients is that of facilitator and companion, supporting them on their healing journey as they reconnect with their own internal wisdom. Christina has completed over 700 hours of yoga teacher certifications, including 300 hours of training in Kerala, India under the guidance of her teacher Anil Kumar. She received training and certification in Tibetan Healing Bowls in Kerala, India and has completed certification in multi-instrument sound healing. 

Sheri Henderson, 500 RYT

Sheri is a certified yoga teacher and sound facilitator who is currently completing her 300 hour yoga teacher training. She first started to discover the healing effects of sound when her son, who was diagnosed on the spectrum, struggled with transitions and anxiety. Sheri found her son responded positively to calming music and she set out to learn more. Sheri completed a 100 hour training in Baja Mexico at the Yandara Yoga Institute for Sound Healing & Yoga Nidra. Sheri dreamed of finding others to collaborate with and assist her in spreading the healing powers of sound. Sheri accomplished her dream through the creation of The Sound and Movement Collective.

 

Brian Gibbs, Credentialed Teacher, Registered Black Belt

Brian is a kindergarten teacher who has implemented music, intuitive movement and body/mind calming techniques in his classroom for over 25 years. Brian holds a black belt in Tang Soo Do, through the lineage of Great Grandmaster Hwang Kee. Martial arts, often regarded as a profound expression of physical discipline, incorporates various elements that facilitate mindful movement, breath and body awareness and meditation. Brian adds his unique training and natural intuitive talent for sound and movement to this unique collective.
